See the best Northern design talent at Design Event

Back for the seventh consecutive year, Design Event 2011, takes place from 14-18 October, with a rich line up of the best design talent from the north of England. This years theme is Happiness and the event opens with Design Event MART, a curated selling exhibition at The Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art (Friday 14 – Sunday 16 Oct), championing over 30 design companies from the North. Visitors can expect to see and buy the latest designs in furniture, lighting and home accessories from award-winning and internationally acclaimed designers, Deadgood, Susan Bradley, Lazarian and many others.
