Modus - Milan review & News

MILAN REVIEW

Modus revealed their latest collection at the Milan Furniture Fair at Designjunction, Zegna Theatre, Via Savona, Milano. If you didn't manage to see us in Milan then visit us in our Clerkenwell showroom over the coming weeks to view our latest collections which are now on display, alternatively our website has now been updated with the new launches. New projects shown at this year's Salone Internazionale Del Mobile include designs by PearsonLloyd, Claesson Koivisto Rune, Monica Forster, Michael Sodeau, Kirsty Whyte and Kawamura Ganjavian.

NEW PROJECTS

Pieces from the 2011 collection included new works by PearsonLloyd - Part Sofa and the refined PLC Lounge chair and PLC Table, Michael Sodeau's new Palais sofa and eponymous Noughts and Crosses stools with steel X-shaped and O-shaped foot rests, Kirsty Whyte's striking geometric Drew range comprising a meeting table, coat stand and high and low occasional tables. The Gecko collection of bistro, meeting, coffee and occasional tables by Scandinavian design partnership Clåesson Koivisto Rune premiered at the show and finally, a spectacular installation of StickingSticks by Kawamura Ganjavian: a selection of different length tubes wrapped in strips of Velcro and easy to assemble were used throughout the space to create striking divisions.
