The Tramshed - London Design Festival's Premier Destination

A collaborative event by De La Espada, Deborah Spencer and Alice Breed

The Tramshed, a new addition to this year’s London Design Festival will present 25 authentic international design brands for a major collaborative show in East London.
The Tramshed will provide a vibrant hub for these collective brands, bringing a much needed international design element to the Festival.
Set against the stunning backdrop of a post- industrial venue, the line up of brands include De La Espada, Benchmark, Studioilse, Scin, Another Country, Bocci, Decode, Michael Sodeau, Dezeen Watch Store, RVW, Matthew Hilton and Kvadrat.

Tramshed Live
The Tramshed Live, curated by design writer and seminar/conference producer Aidan Walker, will run a series of thought-provoking design debates. Set to be the most provocative and engaging presentations of the festival, featuring a line-up of leading designers and creative thinkers including Patricia Urquiola, Luke Pearson, Matthew Hilton and Ilse Crawford.

Highlights include - Can design make us more human? Ilse Crawford and a panel of practictioners explore what it means to 'design with humanity' Wednesday 22 September 6pm
Distinguished speakers Adriaan van Hooydonk, (BMW group design director), Patricia Urquiola, Giulio Ridolfo and Lucia Van Der Post discuss - Luxury, necessity, sustainability - and a very unusual car. Thursday 23 September 4.30pm
Seminars will take place twice a day and are free to attend.
